2024 Infection Prevention Open Office Hours
To assist hospitals in achieving their quality improvement goals, the Compass HQIC team will be hosting NHSN open office hour calls to address frequently asked questions, provide a review of reporting in NHSN and provide a forum for hospitals across the Compass HQIC Program to share best practices with each other.

Iowa Healthcare Collaborative
Kathy Collins, a clinical improvement consultant at Iowa Healthcare Collaborative, is responsible for the coordination and implementation of quality improvement initiatives. She received her bachelor’s degree in nursing from University of Iowa and is a NAHQ certified professional in Healthcare Quality and a TeamSTEPPS master trainer. Collins has 15 years’ experience as a quality director with clinical experience in labor and delivery, medical-surgical, long-term care, home care and ambulatory care. She has led and facilitated quality improvement and patient safety initiatives in several Iowa hospitals.
No continuing education is provided for this course. The user will receive a certificate of completion upon completing the course.
