This letter of commitment is your organizations agreement to participate in the webinar series: The Surviving Sepsis: Early Recognition and Management Saves Lives. Networking and learning with peers are an integral part of this series. The designated attendee must commit to attending the classes and hospital leadership must commit to supporting the resources and time necessary to complete the course.
Overview of Sepsis Series
The Surviving Sepsis: Early Recognition and Management Saves Lives webinar series will focus on taking the learner through a four-tiered strategy for ensuring a robust program to identify sepsis patients early and manage them based on the latest evidence. Health equity and disparities in sepsis care will be discussed. Key implementation strategies for hard-wiring the clinical and process behaviors will be revealed. Barriers with reliable actions to reduce their impact will be described and participants will have the opportunity to create test of change action plans to help address those barriers.
Below are the dates of each webinar session. All sessions take place from 1:00 - 2:00 PM (CST).

Continuing Education
1.0 nursing contact hours will be awarded for each session by the Iowa Hospital Association, Iowa Board of Nursing Provider No. 4. Iowa nursing contact hours will not be issued unless your Iowa license number was provided at registration. For nursing contact hours to be offered, you must log in individually, your webinar sign-in and sign-out times will be verified. Partial credit will not be granted. Attendees outside Iowa should check with their state Board of Nursing for nursing continuing education requirements. **Note that the Iowa Board of Nursing has made nursing contact hours available for Iowa Hospitals staff members that participate in this educational event. If participants belong to a hospital outside of Iowa, the certificate is for your self-reporting CE records. Please follow-up with your designated board for credit verification.
