Joleen Strosahl

Joleen Strosahl, MSA, MSN, RN, CIC, is an infection preventionist at Nebraska Medicine. She conducts surveillance and compliance surveys for all Nebraska Medicine outpatient clinics, both on campus and across the Omaha metro. She also develops and implements COVID-19 surveys for all outpatient clinics. Strosahl received a master’s degree in nursing education from Walden University and a master’s degree in health service administration from Central Michigan University.
Kathy Collins
Session 7 and 8 (MRSA and CRE Reporting)
Kathy Collins, a clinical improvement consultant at Iowa Healthcare Collaborative, is responsible for the coordination and implementation of quality improvement initiatives. She received her bachelor’s degree in nursing from University of Iowa and is a NAHQ certified professional in Healthcare Quality and a TeamSTEPPS master trainer. Collins has 15 years’ experience as a quality director with clinical experience in labor and delivery, medical-surgical, long-term care, home care and ambulatory care. She has led and facilitated quality improvement and patient safety initiatives in several Iowa hospitals.
No continuing education is provided for this course. The user will receive a certificate of completion upon completing the course.
